I am thankful for so many things
That God has given me,
And all the many blessings in life
That fills my heart with glee.

I am thankful that He loved me
Enough to die alone,
On a rugged cross at Calvary
For all my sins atone.

I thank Him for my precious family
Who I love so very dear.
I thank Him for many angels
That are always lingering near.

And I thank Him for our friendship
And the day that I met you,
For you are such a blessing to me
In everything you do.

You gave me a reason to smile again
And you lift my spirit high,
And because of your compassion
My heart is full of joy.

So on this Thanksgiving Day
I think that you should know,
To me you are more precious
Then all the finest gold.
