Each day when I arise
I hear birds chirping
I see the sun rise
And I know God is smiling
Each day I can see new birth
New little critters and
Things growing from the Earth
And I know God is smiling
Each day I see people smiling
Some days I see them cry
This is all a part of life
And I know God is smiling
God wants us to take one day at a time
Deal with today - forget tomorrow
Yesterday is gone forever
And I know God is smiling
Do you see God in nature?
Do you see God in your family?
I see God daily, everywhere I look
And I know He is smiling
Do you see God's smile?
In a sunset or a sunrise
In the majestic glide of an eagle
In the vastness of the skies
I see God's smile everywhere
In a newborn baby's cry
In a grandpa's wrinkled face
In grandma's fresh baked apple pie
In a boy's glee of catching
His very first fish
A girl having fun on a tire swing
In the face of a child making a wish
This list could go on and on
You can see God's smile everywhere
He gave us this beautiful world
Now we need to thank Him in prayer.
