~ An Hour With You~

This song's all about one man who touched the hearts
of millions of people in many lands
Born in poverty he became the greatest star
That the world would ever see.

He just shared his gift that he got from God
Singing songs of love, gospel, country and rock
And people...Let me tell ya he'll sure steal your heart
'cause that man, that man could really sing.

He sang the songs we loved to hear
Some sad songs we shed our tears
We'd sing along just to be near
Then one August night, something went wrong
And in just one moment he was gone.
He left Graceland in that long black limousine.

The world was shocked that he was gone
And wouldn't be here to sing those songs. but he
left those songs here for you and I to sing
So, I'll sing those songs 'cause it's my way
To bear the sorrow of that sad day
When he left in that long black limousine.

Yes, all alone he rode
Well, he left us in that long black limousine.

Yeah, he's gone but it's really clear
He's singing songs for our Lord to hear
And I hope some day that I'll be there in
that Promised Land

Hand in hand we'll sing of joy
No more sorrow we'll be with the Lord and
No more riding in that long black limousine

There'll be no use for that long black limousine.
