I sometimes have
cause to wonder
Why, the devastation
and plunder?
Has our world changed
so much
Where is Jesus when
we need His touch?
My heart breaks at
the sins against man
I am sure this is not
God's ultimate plan.
Death, poverty,
laziness, and cruelty
Seem to exist without
any penalty.
So I offer a fervent
prayer
Please, Father God it
is so unfair.
That the poorest of
the poor
And the weakest must
endure.
The hostility and the
evil that has invaded
The souls of man and
left him so degraded.
Not all have become
so enamored of sinful
ways.
Perhaps even though
some say,
'These may be the
end-time days'
They will finally
find the higher
power.
For it is not yet the
final hour.
Jesus has already
paid the supreme
price
On that the Father
was concise.
For I am sure that he
will ultimately come
To save us, embrace
us, and lead us home.
If you are still in
doubt read God's Holy
word.
It is clear, true, a
promise, nothing
absurd.
We have one final
weapon for our use
Prayer to the
Almighty if you
choose.
For an army of angels
is close at hand
To conquer the
world's illness on
demand.
And to wipe away all
the gloom & doom
So as to let
Christian love can
come in full bloom.
Prayer in a group or
all alone, it makes
no difference.
Either simple,
complex, plain or
with eloquence.
We are God's children
one an all
Ready to answer His
final call.

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so
shine before men,
that they may see
your good works,
and glorify your
Father which is in
heaven.
