If you don't discard the baggage
You carry within your heart

You cannot function normally
You won't even see God's direction
But, if you can release it and smile
You will receive much more affection

Baggage is a real killer
It destroys so many relationships
Get on your knees, ask God to remove it
Your life will finally come to grips

God wants the very best for us
So discard all past hurts and garbage
Forgive the indiscretions of others
And most of all, drop the internal rage

God made us to love one another
In Him, we are to believe
Let go, ask Him to be your guide
See how many blessings you will receive
