There is a
place I like to go
When my heart is filled with care
And purge my soul of daily stress
Because it's peaceful there
Birds are chirping happily
The creek is gently flowing
Water cascading o'er the rocks
All around, pretty flowers are growing
I relax there in a secluded glen
With the sun upon my face
And find the pictures in the clouds
God's wonders, I embrace
As summer slowly gives 'way to fall
Warm weather will subtly fade
A kaleidoscope of autumn hues
Transforms this wondrous glade
It is here that I can talk with God
And find the answers that I seek
When I come to my secret place
And the serenity at the creek
