This is the
last week of Summer,
Fall is just around the corner.
It’s hard for me to wait to see,
The leaves in all their splendor.

Walking through the woods again,
With sunlight shining through,
Leaving beams of light so bright,
It’s almost blinding me.

The light cool breeze of Fall,
And crunchy dry leaves beneath my feet,
Leave happy memories of the past,
I wish I could repeat.

I hope we have a lovely snow,
So I can watch the children play.
The joy I felt in Winter time,
Will never go away.

Winter is my favorite time of year,
I love the cool crisp breeze.
And the snow ice cream we use to make,
When the snow was really deep.

Well I’ve dreamed away an hour,
And a pleasant one it’s been.
To recover those old memories,
Of the things of way back then.
