Time is a
precious thing,
God gives us just so much.
We can’t extend it to make it last,
We only have what God has given us.
Use that time in the wisest way,
Plan each minute day by day.
Plan to use it for things that count,
Dwell on heavenly things along the
way.
Think of how you’ll spend eternity,
You may think you have much time,
But no one can be sure,
When they’ll reach the end of life’s
line.
Be wise prepare for eternity,
You’ll spend it somewhere, that’s for
sure.
Don’t think you’ll get to heaven.
By being good and pure.
The price was paid on Calvary’s cross,
By Jesus for all your sin,
A debt that only He could pay,
So let the Savior in.
