It's time to turn off the alarm clock,
Get up, dressed, and ready for the day,
I have so many needs and challenges,
First, I must come before God and pray.

To ask for wisdom, guidance and love
With each decision I need to make,
I want honesty, truth, and stability.
A mind that is clear, open and awake.

I know alone I can do nothing,
But with God everything is a possibility,
I need to lean on him constantly, seeking
Wisdom, for led by him, I want to be.

If I take each step holding his hand,
As though I was blind and can not see.
If I am obedient, trusting, dependent on him,
He will lead me to adventure and victory.

My Prayer

Father, I want to thank you for this day,
For loving, and supplying my every need,
For the nourishment of the body and mind
My hunger for peace and light you do feed.

Please control my thoughts and words,
Make them cheerful, encouraging and pure,
Clothe me with righteousness, and strength
Amidst hardships and doubt that I may endure.

Father, make me a blessing to others
Walking this journey along with me.
I ask for mercy, peace and love
That you living in me they may see

Thank you Father for life and the opportunity to serve you.
