I walk along the
water's edge,
Heart e'er heavy with sorrow,
How I wish to return to the days,
Our love would greet tomorrow.
Emptiness fills my soul,
My heart aches with every beat,
Without you my darling love,
My life is no longer complete.
The waters beckon me to join them,
There solace can be found,

Only heartaches now surround.

Tears fall to meet the salty sea,

But reality stealthy creeps inside.
Night is falling forming new shadows,
