God Bless the Caretaker,
Especially the spouse and homemaker.
From the time we are born,
Until the time comes for us to mourn.
Duty, love, and honor are desired
To provide, the comforts of life required.
No matter what is said regarding life
There are times it is full of strife.
No matter how independent we may seem
Some of the situations we face are truly extreme.
It is then we need a partner with gentle caring.
Who can tolerate and alleviate the pain we are bearing.
It is then the dear Lord steps in and gives them support.
Provides what seems to be the last resort.
He has always been there but we often don't know.
For it is in our weakest moments we began to show,
Our need for someone to help carry the load.
Of this awesome task that has been bestowed
Our days are numbered to the final few.
Our loving Jesus will see us through.
Perhaps now we can offer a prayer.
For the person who has always been there.
Our caretaker be it relative, spouse or friend
The ones who will be there to the bitter end.
May God's graces fall gently on you.
Bring you many blessing for all you do.
Please dry your eyes and do not cry
We will meet again; it is not a final good-bye.
