As I was heading for the door,
I suddenly fell down on the floor.
There seemed to be a strong, sweet scent,
And into a deep sleep, I then went.

The first thing I remember,
Is a Christmas Day in December.
I found myself wrapped in fleece,
And felt such a warm and calming peace.

There were no presents, family or tree.
It appeared that there was only me.
I thought that this seemed so odd,
Then I looked up and saw my God.

His eyes twinkled like a warming light,
And His warm smile assured me everything was alright.
You can't even imagine my surprise,
I could hardly believe my own eyes!

God said to me, "My precious child,
The world is corrupt, wicked and wild.
Don't give in to temptation, evil or sin,
Remember My Commandments of which there are ten."

"It's not always easy to do what's right,
But it's an uphill battle you must fight.
Unbelievers would have you do what's wrong."

I asked God, "Why have You chosen me?"
He said," Because with Me you want to be.
You are just but one of My flock,
And I am Your Father, Saviour and Rock."

"Just know that I'm always there when you call,
And will be with you, if you should fall."
He also said, "I will never leave or forsake you,
Please know that My love is genuine and true."

The next thing I know is I awoke on the floor,
Not a far distance from the front door.
I know that what happened was real, not a dream,
And that God is the Head of my team.
