Five years it's been now
Since God answered our prayers
He was always there
Guiding the surgeon's hand with care

The surgery took over thirteen hours
While I prayed and paced the floor
I prayed all day that any minute
I'd see Dr. Love come through the door

When he finally did arrive
The look on his face was grave
He looked so terribly exhausted
He said, "Your hubby is so brave"

"He is alive but it will be days
Before we know how it will go"
I thanked him with a big hug
But then he said, "No"

"I did not save him
Your blessings came from above
God sure does love you folks
This was truly a gift of God's love"
