My heart is very tormented today
My pain to hard to bear,
Making me wonder about this life
And why I’m even here.

My good days keep getting less
And being taken over by pain,
I try to fight and gain control
But it seems so all in vain.

The sun stays hidden behind a cloud
Not giving off much rays,
Just like the feeling I have today
Will there be any brighter days.

I try to stay strong and fight it all
But my strength is getting weak,
And tears flow without control
While comfort I try to seek.

The road is very rough I travel
No relief in sight I see,
Just constant pain with no relief
That drains the good from me.

Dear Lord that lives in heaven above
Please hear my humble plea,
Send down Your love and compassion
And give me victory.

I’m trying Lord to keep my faith
And trying to hold on strong.
Please grant me grace and mercy
And fill my heart with song.

Whatever will be Thy Will dear Lord
I will accept it from Thee
But grant me guidance in the storm
So my soul can be set free.
