Alone I sit with my
thoughts surrounding,
Feeling such peace as never before,
As I gaze at the beauty of God’s Creation,
I have never noticed it's beauty before.
As I gaze at the stillness of the water so
clear,
I see a vision that blinded my sight,
It was a glimpse of my precious Jesus,
And around Him, a radiant glowing light.
My eyes began to flow with teardrops,
Oh what a precious sight to behold,
His eyes held so much compassion,
It struck right into my soul.
His smile was like no other smile,
I have ever seen before,
Such love you could see on His face,
I reached and wanted more.
What a precious gift I was given today,
A glimpse of my Jesus, my King,
My soul just trembled with great delight,
As Songs of Praise I sing.
