“Fleeing lust,”
“Is a definite must,”
I heard the preacher say.

“For the sins of a man,”
“Are on the installment plan.”
“In the end you’ll have to pay.”

Friend, we all choose,
Whether to win or lose.
Yes, ours is the final choice.

Satan will say,
“You’ll never pay.”
But, don’t listen to his lying voice.

Ah, temptation is not sin.
But, when we fail and give in,
To thoughts which then become deeds.

In our troubled mind,
Old satan will find,
A place to sow his seeds.

If we believe satan’s lies,
And have lustful eyes,
We’ll end up “footing the bill.”

But, if with God’s Spirit and might,
We walk in the light,
Fleshly lusts we will not fulfill.
