Do you talk to God each morning,
Do you kneel down and pray?
Or do you say, “I’m in a hurry,”
As you start on your way?

While having lunch with friends,
Do you think “I don’t want to be rude.”
So, do you whisper under your breath,
“Jesus, thank you for this food?”

When others take God’s name in vain,
Do you say, “That’s just their way?”
Do they know He is your Father?
Do they ever hear you pray?

Are you quick to lend a helping hand,
To those who are in need?
Do you keep pure thoughts in your mind?
Are you careful what you read?

Are we not Christ’s ambassadors,
As here on earth we trod?
If so, we must bear a resemblance,
To our Father, God!
