What do you do when you’re hurt by a friend?
Or let down by the people you trust?
As emotional pain and the heartaches descend
Do you feel life’s unfair and unjust ?

Do you try to get even or act in a way?
So everyone knows you’re distressed
Do you stuff it, or hold it, or let it decay?
Let's see how you handle the test

Do you cry out to God in the midst of the night?
Do you share every thought that you feel?
Do you pray that your darkness will turn into light?
Do you trust in a God who can heal?

Have you come to a place where you give it to God?
And forgive and forget and move on
For no one is perfect, we’re human and flawed
It’s time to let bygones, be gone

It’s time to show mercy and kindness and grace
From our Father who lives up above
It’s time to bring hope to the whole human race
It’s time for the joy and the love

So do what is right in the sight of the Lord
And Make A Great Difference Today
God saves and forgives and His Spirit is poured
On Those Who Will Trust And Obey !!!
