goodbye,
To a love that began so long

We were very young,

Love's destiny was born,
Before the seeds were yet sown.
A love that touched many lives,
And hurt so many hearts,
They thought couldn't last a
lifetime,
Yet we desired it never to
depart.
It's endured so many storms,
But this one it will not
weather,
You're leaving me forever,
Not through your choice, or
endeavor.
My arms and heart will remain
empty,
And hope to hold you in
eternity.
