This world is full of sorrow now,
Everywhere you look around,
Just when you think it can’t get worse,
Something else keeps falling down.

I have experienced a lot of sorrow,
But I have witnessed a lot to,
And it breaks your heart just knowing,
"Dear Lord” what can I do?

To help a bitter heart gone cold,
Or brighten someone’s day,
To say “I love you”, to someone,
That this world would cast away.

Jesus died on Calvary’s cross,
Not just for a certain few,
He took the blame upon Himself
And that means me and you.

Please don’t despair, Christian friend,
If your load seems to weight a ton,
For I know within this heart of mine,
The best is yet to come.
