A tap on the shoulder was the call
That your time had come after all
To join the heavenly host
Praising God and glorifying Him
In your heavenly home.

Your work on earth had come to a close
And you took your heavenly flight
To sing with joyous delight
As you joined the heavenly chorus
Singing round the throne of God.

Your smile shines as a bright star
As you realize where you are
And see your dear Savior's face
And walk the streets of gold
Leading to your eternal place.

We shall miss you sister dear
For you filled our life with love and good cheer
Smiling, joking and singing along the way
As we shared from childhood until your final day.

God shined on your life from the day you were born
Blessing you with love and gifts of special caring
Which you were ever sharing
As you found in life joy and delight.

Though life dealt you many a blow
You found the will to carry on with dignity and grace
Always striving your love of God to show
And your presence made this world a more beautiful place.

Memories of you are precious and sweet
And will warm our sad hearts
When we long for a glimpse of your dear face
For we know some day we will again meet
In heaven, a far better place.

Farewell Sister dear
And thanks for the memory
Of a life lived well
And joyous anticipation of a reunion for eternity.
