I would like to introduce you to Someone,
You really need to know!
He is a very dear Friend of mine!
I met Him some time ago!

My Friend's name is Jesus!
He came to save us from sin!
He is the Way, the Truth, the Life,
And the Door we may enter in!

At the name of Jesus,
Every tongue will confess,
And every knee shall bow!
He is the God of our past,
Our future and our now!

There has never been,
Or shall there ever be another,
Who can be a precious friend,
That "Sticketh closer than a brother!"

He knows just what we are going through,
This very unique Friend,
For He was tempted in all points,
Like as we are, yet without sin.

Friend, whosoever shall call upon the name,
Of Jesus shall be saved!
Thus, lost sinners are freed,
Who once were enslaved!

Yes, He came to seek and to save,
Those who are lost!
On that cruel tree on Calvary,
He paid the terrible cost!

They did not take His life from Him!
He freely gave it up!
He said, "Father, forgive them,"
As He drank the "bitter cup.

He is our Precious Redeemer,
Our Soon Coming King,
And the Blessed Rock Of Ages,
That causes our hearts to sing!

Jesus is our Elder Brother,
The Great I Am,
Mighty Prince of Peace,
And Calvary's Bleeding Lamb!

He is our Advocate to the Father!
Our case He will defend!
He is the Alpha and Omega,
The Beginning and the End!

Jesus is the Lily of the Valley,
And the Bright and Morning Star!
He is ""no respecter of persons,"
No matter who we are!

He is the Living Water!
The Bread of Life is He!
He is the Second Person of the Godhead,
The Blessed Trinity!

Jesus is the Good Shepherd,
That watches over the sheep!
He is always alert.
He never slumbers or sleeps!

He is the Mighty Counselor,
And "God with us, "Immanuel!"
Friend His majestic greatness,
No mortal tongue can tell!

He did not come to Earth,
In search of riches or fame,
But to redeem lost sinners!
That is why He came!
