Worn And Weary...
I'm weary Lord so tired and weak,
But still Your will is all I seek.
Each night upon my bed I weep,
As I lay down in peace to sleep.
Enough! I cry no more my King,
I'm overwhelmed yet sorrow brings
Her tear drops to my weary eyes
And my heart aches while my soul cries.
My tears anoint my pillow now,
Alone I weep and wonder how.
I'll stumble through another day
With sorrow's mantle here I lay.
The silence echo's all around,
But still Your presence can be found
Within the blackness of the night,
I see it not, no not by sight.
And yet dear Lord I know its true,
For this You said, "...lo, I Am with you."
I'll struggle through another night,
And grasp this truth, I'll hold on tight.
I cling to it and bow my head.
While tears anoint my lonely bed.
