Some people come in your life,
But not all come to stay,
Some are just for a season,
And others come everyday.

I don’t know why friends leave,
And don’t bother to say good bye,
I know there must be a reason,
We will it know it by and by.

I have met so many people in life,
Some stayed with me for years,
Others strayed, and drifted away,
And left me full of tears.

I thank God for every blessing,
Every friend, He sent my way,
And more all the sweet memories,
I think of day by day.

Some are gone home with You Lord,
While others I don’t know,
I just sadly miss them,
And it hurts to let them go.

Wherever in this life, Dear Lord,
Some of them happen to be,
Just let them know I love them,
For all eternity…
