I want my Lord to use me
I will not feel ashamed,
To tell the world about Him
And the reason why He came.

He died for me that I might live
Someday in eternity,
He bore the stripes belonging to me
Then died with dignity,

This perfect Man took the blame,
To save all souls from sin,
If it’s not enough to love Him back,
What more, could you asked of Him.

They made Him drag His cross alone,
And they mocked Him on His way,
It makes my heart so very sad,
As I think of it today.

But Jesus would not want me sad,
He was not afraid to die,
Thousands of angels attended Him,
As His Spirit descended on high.

Someday soon He’s coming back,
In a glorious robe of white,
And I will be eagerly awaiting Him,
If it’s morning, noon or night.

I love Him today with all my heart,
I will sing and praise His name,
And stand on the promise He left me,
That He will return again.

You can come too dear sinner friend,
Salvation is flowing for all,
But don’t delay, come now today,
Before you miss the call.
