Oh, I've trusted in my Jesus
For the long hills, I've had to climb,
Not knowing the path ahead for me,
My blessed Jesus stayed with me.
And I've climbed them trusting Jesus
He has made me strong and complete,
I told Jesus, Lord, I can't make it,
He replied, yes you can, just lean on Me.
Each time I whisper Jesus
He comes with new assurance,
He tells me to leave it all to Him,
I'm with you always, right to the end.
I'll trust His leading, He'll never fail,
Through darkest tunnels or misty vale,
Obey His biding and faithful be,
Tho, only one step ahead I see.
This last verse is from a hymn...

2 Chronicles 20:15
Thus saith the Lord unto you,
Be not afraid nor dismayed by
reason of this great multitude;
for the battle is not yours, but God's.
