To God I Give Thanks

Give thanks to Him who loves you more,
Than any other ever could.
He loves you because He is love,
And not because you're good.

Give Thanks to Him who cares for you,
He who supplies your every need.
When you're feeling down and lonely,
He hears your every plea.

Give thanks to Him not only for today,
But for all He's done in the past.
He loves His children with an everlasting love,
A love that will forever last.

God sent His only Son,
That He might set us free.
I'm thankful to my Heavenly Father,
For paying the debt for me.

How could one not love Him,
When He has loved us so?
You could never know a greater love,
Than the love that God bestows.
