I have a garden full of roses.
Every color, every kind.
But Jesus the Rose of Sharon,
Is the sweetest rose of mine.

He's as gentle as a rose petal,
The sweetest of them all.
The beauty of the finest flowers,
That we could ever grow.

He's kinder than a mother,
Feeding a newborn child
Though we often disappoint Him,
He loves us all the while.

Though roses are beautiful, they still have thorns
They can prick our flesh and cause us pain.
But if we leave the Rose of Sharon,
He'll welcome us home again.

So care for your rose garden,
Especially the Rose of Sharon.
And when our life on earth is done,
We'll see that Rose in Heaven.
