Life is so beautiful,
But so fascinating too,
To watch all the animals of God's creation,
And all the things they do.

I love the different birds,
And all the colors in their feathers.
They just fly and sing and enjoy life,
Regardless of the weather.

Occasionally a flying squirrel
Will enter into our yard,
To gather acorns from our trees,
Or to eat from an ear of hanging corn.

The Jonquils are beginning to pop their heads,
Just above the ground,
Though it is just a little early,
There's not that many around.

But soon the winter weather ,
Will give over to a lovely spring,
And showers and green grass and blossoms,
Will come from dogwood trees.

I love the smell of new cut grass,
And the soil just after a rain,
You hate to see it ending,
Can't wait until it comes again.

My trees are not yet blooming,
But very soon will be.
The Dogwood and the Red plum,
And even the Cherry tree.

The budding and blooming of such trees,
Really lifts my spirit high.
I enjoy each moment of their splendor,
Until fall comes and once again they die.

My favorite time of year though,
Is the seasons, fall and winter.
There's so much excitement going on,
Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then it's Easter.

We're blessed in all four seasons,
With beauty of the earth.
The winter with its snow and colored leaves,
And with Spring a brand new birth.
