Thank You
God
Thank you, God, for everything that You have
done,
For the big things, and the small,
For every good gift comes straight from God
above,
For He's the giver of them all.
And all too often we accept what He gives,
Without any thanks or praise,
The gifts that God sends as blessings,
Each and every day in many, many ways.
So at this Thanksgiving time,
We need to offer up a prayer,
To thank God for giving us so much,
A lot more than our share.
First I want to thank Him for the little things,
That often comes our way,
Things that we take for granted,
But don't take time to mention when we pray,
For the hand that reached out to touch us,
In time of a sudden need.
Then I want to thank You for the Miracles,
We are much too blind to see,
And give us new awareness,
Of our many gifts from Thee,
And that the key to living,
Is to make each Prayer a prayer of thanks,
And make every day Thanksgiving,
For it's not just once a year to be thankful,
But each and every day of the year
So I pray on this day I hope all the people,
Around the world have a,
Safe and HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
