Take Time
The world we live in can be so busy,
with people rushing here and there,
barely taking a moment to breathe.
Of those around us, are we aware?
Remember to take some time today
to let your friends know you care,
With a kind deed or a phone call,
just to let them know you're there.
Hearing from you, may make their day,
giving their heart that extra lift.
Nurture the friendships that God gives
for in them, you've found a special gift.
Your friends may need to hear from you.
Their hearts might be filled with pain.
Lend a hand, help them carry their burden.
An encouraging word, can help them to sustain.
Please don't wait until tomorrow,
your deepest feelings to convey.
For tomorrow, might be too late.
So reach out in love to them today.
Let this truth be ingrained in you,
taking root deep within your heart.
Friendship's bloom will grow strong
with the love you have to impart.
