With You~
Music is part of the soul
Placed there by the creator just so
Praises to Him can be raised
With melody precious as gold.
Music of the soul brings peace
From sorrow surcease
And supreme release
Of joy from within overflowing.
Soul music interpreted through the written word
Linked with melodic sound
Composed to perfect pitch and tone
Of instrument and voice renders a beautiful song
Incredible to be heard.
The funeral dirge touches the soul
Expressing sorrow of a broken heart
When loved ones from life depart
Winging their way to their heavenly goal.
Celebration in music of the soul
Springs from love and a joyous heart
In thanksgiving for blessings untold
Too wondrous to behold.
Soul music of wonder and delight
Express the magnitude of an awesome God
Far more gracious and forgiving
Of lowly man created to magnify and glorify
The Father above through righteous living.
Soul music beats within the human breast
Instilled at the moment of creation
Coming to life at the mother's lullaby
And symphony of winds in glorious adoration
As birds sing in joyous jubilation.
Once music finds release in the soul
It continues unfettered
Getting better and better as time goes by
Until it joins the heavenly chorus in the sky.
