Sleep my little angel girl,
The sandman passed your way,
Silently he came to visit,
Ending your busy day.

Beautiful baby you hold my heart,
Around your finger I am wrapped,
I spend much time playing with you,
My energy is swiftly sapped.

I look upon your sleeping face,
Angelic in all facets of life,
I give thanks to my Lord and King,
For the precious gift of little you.

I love you pretty angel girl,
You mean so much to me,
There is joy in each day,
As your smiling face I see.

Little giggles floating up,
Rising as the morning sun,
Touching all within its path,
Life to you is lots of fun.

Blessed am I to be a part,
Of your growing up years,
Giving solace to little hearts,
Calming unfounded fears.

Thank You Jesus for this child,
Restful in Divine sleep,
May she always seek You,
Your love, in her heart keep.
