We all know the song "I talk to the
trees"
From that beautiful show 'bout the west
I think it is called "Paint Your Wagon"
It surely is one of the best.
I have a small variation, that I practice every day
Because , here in Ozz, in our garden
There are birds by the dozen to see
They come for a feed and a drink
And we supply that for free.
There are sparrows and Blackbirds and Maggies
That stands for "Magpies" you see
There are Rosellas and Cockies and Finches
And Butchers and Crows
And nobody knows, how many there are in our trees.
So , I talk to the birds and they talk to me
In the language that God gave to them,
They sing their song , I sing along,
In my own clumsy way
I hope that one day, I will hear what they say
In a language we all understand,
