When I feel sad or down
And things don’t go my way
There is someone, a friend that I can call
He’ll be there for me, and listen to my prayer
It matters not, what time of night or day:.

And it’s so nice to know
That when I’m feeling low,
There’s a Friend that I can tell my troubles to.

That now we’ve talked, I no longer feel so blue.

The problems of my day, sometimes don’t go away
They hang around and often cause me pain.
Then I remind myself, I need not feel alone.
I turn to You my Lord, You make me whole again.
And it’s so nice to know...........

There’re also other times, my troubles far away,
My mind at ease and happiness flows free,
That’s when I speak to You, to tell You all is fine,
I sing this song, to praise Your care for me.
And it’s so nice to know..........
