Dear Father up in heaven above,
I come thanking You today,
For every blessing given to me,
And the love You send my way.

Your birthday will soon be here again,
Like every time this year,
People are celebrating Your love,
With hope and lots of cheer.

Lord I know that I am not worthy,
Of the love You give so free,
But I know You love me anyhow,
Because Lord, You created me.

So much have I to praise You for,
When I think of all the love,
And all your tender mercies,
Sent down from heaven above.

So Happy Birthday my Jesus,
And once again I pray,
That you will always be with us,
To guide us everyday.
