My gift is not in a package
To be unwrapped
But is hidden in the heart
To be revealed day by day.

My gift of love grows more precious
To be cherished year by year
Filling your life with smiles
And never heartaches and tears.

This gift of love is everlasting and true
As constant as the rising and setting of the sun
And bright as the morning star
Surrounding you where ever you are.

I loved you even before you were born.
That is why I wore a crown of thorns
And gave My life upon the cross
To bring salvation to the lost.
So, accept this gift, precious and free,
Of My perfect love for eternity.
