Friends forever, that's how we are,
Since crawling around as tots,
Mothers were friends before us,
A loving friendship thus begot.
Sandbox buddies from the start,
It was always friends forever,
You see not one but three,
A bonded friendship's endeavor.
Grade school we remained close,
Homework shared between we three,
It was a friendship blessed from above,
Until death our loyalty will be.
High school and proms,
Boys, work and marriage,
Trials faced and we overcame,
Our friendship bore fruitage.
We look out and see our children,
Happily playing hand in hand,
The bond has been set in their hearts,
A lifetime friendship they'll expand.
Friends forever, that's how they are,
Since crawling around as tots,
Mothers were friends before them,
A loving friendship thus begot.
