Dream Weaver come to me,
In the darkness of the night.
Bring me only pleasant dreams,
Before the morning's light.
Spin your shimmering web,
All around me as I sleep.
Sandman is on his way,
And stardust he will sweep.
As I lay my head down,
And dreamland I fall into.
Bring me only sweet dreams,
Of happiness so true.
Underneath the pale moonlight,
Whippoorwills softly sing.
Could you fly me into the sky,
So upon the stars I may swing.
Fill my dreams with rainbows,
In colours rich and bright.
And cheerful painted merry-go-rounds,
That I can ride tonight.
Pink cotton candy clouds,
Encircle me from high above.
Sprinkled sweet like a first kiss,
From my very first love.
As I lay asleep I am cast,
Under your magical spell.
Just where you will take me,
Never can I foretell.
Upon diamond dust sand,
Barefoot I could dance.
I could swim in crystal seas,
Brim filled with love and romance.
Upon sheer wings of satin,
Playfully fairies fly.
But they will all soon disappear,
As morning does draw nigh.
Just what dreams you will bring,
Every night I lie here eager.
Waiting for you to spin your dreams,
Dream Weaver
