Nothing is more precious than a constant friend
Always available with heart open wide
To listen to sorrows you confide
Showing constant love to the end.

Ever abiding love they share
Letting you know how much they care
Affirming your accomplishments
Worthy of praise and compliments.

Always ready with a willing hand
They reach out to help any way they can
To provide assistance when you have need
Letting you know they understand.

When illness saps your strength away,
The constant friend is quick to say
"Brought you some soup to help you mend
So you will soon be well, my friend."

Faithfully lifting you up in prayer
Your troubles they share
So you never feel alone
With all hope gone.

A note or phone call to keep in touch
And share thoughts or plan coming events
With joyful anticipation and loving sentiments
Makes a constant friend loved so much.

I will always be a constant friend to you
And know that I can always depend
On you as my constant friend
Faithful , loving and true.
