Christmas time is here for
giving love,
The sweet sharing of what God taught,
And everything about Christmas points,
To Jesus and His love He brought.
For He Whose Name shall be called Jesus,
Which means salvation for mankind,
He shall save His people from their sins,
He, Prophets of Old longed to find.
The Promised Messiah born lowly,
As the Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes,
With no room or bed in Bethlehem,
While the angels sang God bestows.
A little Babe born in a stable,
A straw filled manger was His bed,
There was no place in the Inn to stay,
Except where cows and oxen fed.
In the midst of animals a ‘’Light,’‘
From the brightest star shone above,
To first lead the shepherds to the Babe,
And then three wise men came in love.
Just imagine the glow on faces,
Such joy, the awe, the reverence,
Seeing this sweet little Babe Jesus,
The Savior of Deliverance.
The prophesied Holy Child is born,
Whose Name’s called Wonderful for He’s,
The Blessed Redeemer and Son of God,
Jesus Christ Who's "Love" will appease.
Christmas time is here to celebrate,
O Glory to the newborn King,
Christ the Lord, Savior of you and me,
“Happy Birthday,” our “Everything.”
