Was the sound of
silence . . .Loud
As the Babe "Jesus" was born
No celebration, no large crowd
On that cold and frosty morn
Shepherds stood near, in awe
Listening as the Wise Men told
Of the great and shining star
Guiding, As a "Miracle" unfold
The Son of God, born in a stable
A Lowly place for a . . . "King"
Why not a "Palace" God was able
He was in control, of everything
This child would carry the weight
Of our sin, upon His shoulders
Time would come, He’d know His fate
Looking upon scorners, and beholders
Christmas is . . . A time to reflect
To understand, His Holy Birth
Sent from The Father, to direct
The way to Heaven, from this Earth
So as we sing "Oh, Holy Night"
Or "We Three Kings" with Cheer
Let's say a prayer, thanking God
For sending His Son. . . Here!
