~ An Hour With You~

 The memory of you sobbed within,
Until a tear fell from my soul,
Then suddenly I knew you were gone,
Never to return to me whole.

No more will you be mine completely,
I’ve looked all around wondering,
Why love wanders almost aimlessly,
What life could genuinely bring.

Knowing the depth of my soul’s feeling,
To cry removing all this pain,
The memory of us together,
Is heartache longing to remain.

A tear fell leaving an emptiness,
Not receiving nor believing,
That love can forever more be true,
For thoughts of you are deceiving.

Vanishing into oblivion,
Are times of hope that were blended,
Not holding up are love’s emotions,
Feelings that once were are ended.

Night time turns over reluctantly,
While the power of it recalls,
The memory of you in my heart,
To silence your love where it falls.

We will never be the same again,
You ended us and our romance,
Belonging together is no more,
Lost are you and I with no chance.

A love song lingering in my heart,
Always reminding me of you,
Finally whispered its sad parting,
As a tear fell sprinkling adieu.

The memory of you sobbed within,
The love of you fell from my soul,
Suddenly you are no longer here,
Never again will we be whole.
