A Friend To Believe In

There are so many things in life,
I find nearly impossible to bear,
The scattered hope, the scattered dreams,
The tragedies that makes life so unfair,
Through it all I must find a place,
Where I can feel free, without a care.

Friends to believe in, to love,
And with whom my burdens to share,
I have found very few people
In whom I completely trust,
Who find that in a friendship,
Care, understanding and Christian living are a must.

But when I met you,
I felt a change come over my life,
And I knew you would be there,
To help me deal with the turmoil and strife,

You show such an example,
Of what life should be,
You care and understand me,
Words cannot express my feelings for you,
Nor the love I have within,
But I know with out a doubt, that in you,
I've found a friend to believe in.
