You know the tears I cry each day,
From the pain that tortures me,
You know my life is such a mess,
From all this agony.

But I can’t seem to understand,
Why it has to be,
I try so hard to do my best,
To be a servant for Thee.

I know You truly love me Lord,
But why must I suffer so,
When the wicked seem to prosper,
And live happy here below.

If You want to take me home with You,
I would gladly go,
Or is there something I must do,
For You here on earth below.

If so Lord I need You to help me,
Give me strength to see it through,
You gave Your life for me dear Lord,
And I will give mine for You.
