I used to think that beauty in life,
Were models with fancy cars,
Or people that dressed in costly things,
Or glitter like movie stars.

I looked at people in a different way,
Until God showed me one day,
That beauty is a very special gift,
That even jewels cannot pay.

I met at lot of friends on here,
Some so many years ago,
I’ve never seen them face to face,
But their beauty beams like gold.

I have a chance in this big world,
To see the beauty where it lies,
It is a treasure sent from heaven,
No words can ever describe.

I see it in the emails you send out,
Or the beautiful things you say,
To help me in my deep, deep sorrow,
And in the prayers you always pray.

I see beauty that lies inside you,
And it beams, right from your heart,
And no one can take that from you,
For you have had it from the start.

So next time you look in the mirror,
And you feel all ugly inside,
Remember that God created you,
And God can never lie.
