Tears of sorrow flow down my face,
They get heavier and flow more everyday,
Just like raindrops, fall to the ground,
My tears just flow without words to say.

My heart is crying out for my son,
That was tragically taken away,
I never got to say good bye to him,
And my soul is tearing away.

How can I tell him I love him now?
I will never see him again,
So much I want him to know now,
That my heart is lost without him.

Dear Lord up in heaven hear my plea,
Please take this agony away from me,
Please let me know that he’s with You,
And You will watch over him too.

He suffered so much here on this path,
I pray he has peace with You at last,
Keep him safe dear Lord I pray today,
Send Your angels to protect him I pray.

Thank You for the thirty four years,
That he was given to me,
Now Lord I pray he’s home with You,
For all eternity.
