I can’t expect everyday, to be wonderful
As I encounter trials. . . . That are bleak
Yet, whatever the situation, Lord
It’s your guidance that I seek

After all, you know I am only human
With problems and shortcomings too
Coping with things that fill my life
Gaining my strength . . .Through you

I’ll always seek peace and happiness
Striving, to keep my path clear
I thank you Jesus, for I know you bless
And when I call, I know you hear

I am so thankful, day by day
For my life . . . you granted me
And many blessings you bestow
All this, and Salvation, so free!
