Matrimonial Communion
Oh, I
can feel the anticipation
As each new day, draws nearer
All our plans are . . . Underway
My thoughts, are getting clearer
Yet, these jitters I feel inside
Are expected, for the "Bride To Be"
In times of fear and doubt I cried
Is this marriage right . . . For me?
Marriage is a lifetime commitment
Between God and the man I marry
Believing my love, was heaven sent
I know well, I shouldn’t . . . Tarry
So, I will set all fears to rest
Looking to our future . . . Ahead
With a strong foundation, at best
Surviving, all hardships and dread
With the "Lord" blessing our union
And in happiness, we share our love
We enter in "Matrimonial Communion"
While God smiles on us, from above!
