Jesus Knocking
I know you hear Jesus knocking,
At the door of your lonely heart,
He has blotted out all your sins,
Like the morning mist will depart.
“Oh return to me,” Jesus says,
I paid the price to set you free,
No matter how deep your guilt is,
Let’s talk it over, you and Me.”
“You know I love you and I hear,
And I feel the sadness you keep,
The stain of all your sins is gone,
Open the door to Me and weep.”
Jesus is waiting for you now,
Be rid of depression begun,
Jesus knocking at your heart’s door,
Is like the bright afternoon sun.
“I still listen to your heart pound,
As you call back a transgression,
You are cleansed as freshly white snow,
Think on My love, My compassion.”
“Hear Me knocking inside your heart,”
Let go of that anguish and pain,
Overflow with My love and peace,
While I am now knocking again.”
I know you feel Jesus’ presence,
Rise up and ask Him in to speak,
For always He’ll knock until you,
Return to Him again and seek.

"I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy
transgressions, and a cloud,
thy sins; for I have redeemed
thee.”
